Home is where you return to.

I am happy to say the flights to New York were completely uneventful.  I made it to my friends’ place in Greenpoint without any drama, lost luggage, or delays.  Don’t you love that?

One night in Brooklyn, an interview in Midtown, then to Grand Central for a quick train ride home.  Not surprisingly, I slept the whole way.  Fortunately, my stop was the last one!

I had three days home before my flight to London.  I had made lists of things I needed to do, wanted to do.  I was more exhausted than I realized though, and spent more time sitting still than I expected.  Still, got to see my Gram and have a big Thanksgiving style dinner with family and friends.  And a calzone with my sister and papa.  And frozen yogurt with mom.

It was a lot of good food and even better company.
