10k in my neighborhood.

Another Sunday, another 10k.  There seems to be one every other week.  I had the benefit of being able to walk to this race as it was held at Wanderers, a massive cricket club right down the road from my place.

Registration was before the sun was up.  Race number, temporary license, and safety pins.  Check, check, check.  Meet-up with my racing friend David?  Total fail.  We were meant to meet at the start and man oh man was it busy.  There were some runners in town for the race and they marched up to the front, singing and dancing.  It made for a super festive atmosphere.  Nothing like running alongside Africans making a ruckus.
